Allyson Robinson, Director of Accessibility Programs
Allyson is a Director for the Oklahoma State University (OSU) Department of Wellness Sponsored Programs. In her role, she supports all Accessibility Programs including Oklahoma ABLE Tech, the state’s Assistive Technology (AT) Act Program, serving individuals of all ages, in all environments, statewide. Other programs include the Special Education Resolution Center (SERC) and the Oklahoma Rehabilitation Council (ORC), which allow for greater support and services to those in K-12 as well as adults ready for (or currently in) Oklahoma’s workforce, respectively. Allyson’s role supports OSU’s Student Accessibility Services as well.
Her background in speech pathology and assistive technology along with her passion to help people brought her to OSU 13 years ago. For 9 of those, she was also an adjunct lecturer at OSU teaching the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) class to graduate students in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She worked previously for Pawnee Public Schools serving children ages 3-18 with speech and language needs. Allyson and her husband, Kyle, have three sons, Carter, Callan, and Conley, and a daughter, Claire.

Meg Busteed, Device Reutilization Program Manager
Meg is a Stillwater native. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in Leisure Studies from Oklahoma State University. Meg has spent much of her career working with the aging population, focused on dementia and caring for caregivers. In her free time, Meg enjoys being outside in the garden, bird watching, going to music festivals and concerts, traveling, and spending time with family. She and her husband Phil live in Yukon with their deaf Husky, Roxy. They have two boys, Jace and Cael.
Mindy Cash, State Leadership Program Manager
Mindy graduated Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education. Mindy brings more than 22 years of experience serving children and adults with disabilities across educational and community settings.
Throughout her career, Mindy has specialized in assistive technology assessment, implementation, and training, with expertise in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), computer access, switch access, eye gaze technology, accessible educational materials, and environmental adaptations. She has worked closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, therapists, and families to develop individualized solutions that increase independence, participation, and meaningful access to learning.
Prior to joining Oklahoma ABLE Tech, Mindy served in several leadership roles at Little Light House, a nonprofit Christian developmental center for children with disabilities, where she managed the Connected Learning Program and previously served as Director of Education. She also spent 16 years at The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital, helping develop educational and assistive technology services for children with complex medical needs. Her passion has always been empowering individuals through innovative technology while equipping those who support them with practical strategies and resources.
In her current role, Mindy collaborates with educators, families, state agencies, and community partners across Oklahoma to provide training, technical assistance, and statewide resources that promote effective assistive technology and accessible educational materials. She is passionate about ensuring Oklahomans of all ages and abilities have the tools they need to communicate, learn, work, and live as independently as possible.
Outside of work, Mindy enjoys teaching dance, spending time with family and friends, and serving in her church’s special needs ministry. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships, encouraging others, and making a lasting difference in her community through service and accessibility.
Alyssa Kay Dady, Senior Administrative Support Specialist
Alyssa joined the team in July 2026, bringing a wonderful blend of leadership and service to her role. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) at Oklahoma State University. Alyssa’s background includes valuable experience as a Hospitality Manager at Eskimo Joe’s, where she developed a strong foundation in guest services, leadership, and employee assistance.
Her passion for supporting others makes her a natural fit for the Department of Wellness – Sponsored Programs (DOWSP) team. Alyssa is incredibly excited to step into this role and looks forward to utilizing her diverse skill set to serve, assist, and contribute to the team’s ongoing success.
Outside of work and her university studies, Alyssa loves spending quality time with her family and playing with her dogs. She also enjoys quieter moments spent journaling and studying various reads!
Orfa Foster, Sponsored Programs Specialist I
Orfa joined the OSU Department of Wellness Sponsored Programs team in June 2024. She assists with HR, payroll, purchases, and travel reimbursement for all of DOWSP. She is excited to work with a great team of people who serve with purpose. Orfa is originally from Texas. She moved to Oklahoma City in 2010. She enjoys music, traveling, and serving the community in various ministries with her husband, James.
Shelley Gladden, Assistant Director of Accessibility Programs
Shelley Gladden joined Oklahoma ABLE Tech in May 2012. As a Program Manager, her primary role is overseeing the core programs of the AT Act for Oklahoma, including the assistive technology and device demonstration, short-term loan, financial loan, and the device and durable medical equipment reutilization program. Shelley is the ABLE Tech hearing support specialist to consumers, teachers, and professionals.
She is a statewide trainer for the Hearing Loss Association of America and is active in several advocacy organizations including Oklahoma Rehabilitation Council, Hearing Loss Association of America – Central Oklahoma Chapter, Living Choice Advisory Council, and Oklahoma Healthy Brain Initiative. She has spent her career working with individuals with disabilities in various settings in both Oklahoma and Texas. She obtained her B.S. degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Graduate Certification in Non-Profit Management through Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK.

Peyton Haley, Marketing and Communications Manager
Peyton joined Oklahoma ABLE Tech in July 2022. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2019 with degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Communications. In 2021, she earned her Master’s in Agricultural Communications from OSU. Peyton has previous marketing and communications experience in agricultural publishing and engineering extension. She enjoys creating content for diverse audiences and interacting with people from all over the state through her work at ABLE Tech.
Peyton and her husband, Chester, have three dogs: Tripp, Penny, and Peach. She enjoys reading and caring for her large collection of houseplants in her free time.

Terri Harris, Device Demonstration and Loan Programs Specialist
Terri joined the team in December 2021 as a senior administration support specialist. In April 2026, Terri was promoted to a program specialist for Oklahoma ABLE Tech to support the Demo/Loan Programs and acquisition activities.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University in 2017 and completed her Master of Business Administration in 2025 through Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
A lifelong resident of Stillwater, Terri raised her three now-adult children in the community she proudly calls home. She is passionate about helping others and enjoys traveling throughout the United States, listening to audiobooks, especially fiction and spending time with family and friends.
Terri is proud to be part of the ABLE Tech team and is dedicated to connecting people with the valuable services and resources the program provides. She enjoys sharing the many ways ABLE Tech helps individuals achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Joshua Hawkins, State Leadership Assistant Director
Joshua Hawkins joined the Oklahoma ABLE Tech team in July 2022. He has 11 years of experience as a special education teacher and high school math teacher. Additionally, he has three years of experience as a site- and district-level administrator. Previously, he served as the Special Education Program Coordinator at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
Josh’s experience in the classroom and as an administrator has prepared him to serve Oklahomans in this new capacity. He is excited to work with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and other state leaders and entities to meet the educational and functional needs of individuals who would benefit from assistive technology or accessible educational materials. Josh enjoys good literature and music, diverse outdoor activities, and spending time with his wife, Heather, and their six children. He and his family live in Stillwater.

Stephanie Hesser, Financial Loan Specialist
Stephanie Hesser comes to ABLE Tech as an addition to the Financial Lending team. She had served on Oklahoma Assistive Technology Foundation’s board of directors as Board President and when the opportunity came to become more involved with the lending team, she jumped at the chance. Stephanie has enjoyed a long career of helping others. Her experience ranges from creating affordable housing, working in a free medical clinic in Rwanda, to teaching history at a virtual school. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys quilting, making quilting how-to videos on YouTube, and crocheting.
Averie Hinchey-Lucas, Program Manager, ABLE Tech Demonstration & Loan Programs
Averie joined the Oklahoma ABLE Tech team in September 2021 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2018 with her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2018 and in 2020 with her M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Averie has clinical experience working with individuals across the lifespan in private clinics, assisted living, and outpatient hospital settings.
Averie specializes in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Her experience includes working with and evaluating individuals using AAC technology and completing funding applications for individuals to receive their own speech-generating devices.
Lillie Love, Warehouse Specialist, Device Reutilization Program
Lillie relocated to Oklahoma City from Denver, Colorado, in November 2024. She has a strong background in aviation and is currently pursuing her private pilot’s license. Outside of work, Lillie enjoys playing guitar, writing poetry, and exploring photography. Above all, she values spending quality time with her family, friends, and her partner, Addee. She is excited to dive into the world of Oklahoma ABLE Tech and is passionate about helping individuals across Oklahoma access equipment to help them live more independently.
Chase Mason, Administrative Operations and Human Resources Specialist, Sponsored Programs
Chase Mason joined Oklahoma State University’s Department of Wellness Sponsored Programs as an Administrative Operations and Human Resources Specialist, supporting the people and processes behind programs that serve communities across Oklahoma. A United States Air Force veteran, Chase began his career in knowledge operations before serving as a recruiter, where he developed a passion for connecting people to purpose. He later built his career in talent acquisition in corporate aerospace, where he led recruiting efforts supporting complex manufacturing programs, bringing a strong foundation in human resources operations, workforce strategy, and process discipline.
Now graduating with his MBA at Oklahoma State University, Chase brings both professional experience and a lifelong connection to OSU into his work. As a husband and father of six, he is grounded in a deep sense of responsibility to others and is especially passionate about supporting students, veterans, and communities through programs like ABLE Tech and other wellness initiatives. Chase believes that employee experience is built through daily actions, and he is committed to helping create systems that serve people with integrity, accountability, and purpose.
Gwen Mellor, Communications Specialist
Gwen joined the team in March 2025. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and a minor in English. Gwen has prior experience creating consistent branding and tailoring communications materials to specific audience needs. In her current role, she strives to provide accessible content that is meaningful for everyone who uses Oklahoma ABLE Tech programs and services.
In her free time, Gwen likes to hike with her husband, spend quality time with family, and read anything written by James Patterson.
Bethany Navarro, Program Coordinator, Transition
Bethany graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family science and a minor in American Sign Language. As a program coordinator, she divides her time between special projects, including wearables and transition activities. She is also the specialist for the hearing and vision AT categories, as well as AT for employment. Bethany is passionate about inclusivity and accessibility and enjoys her role at Oklahoma ABLE Tech.
In her free time, Bethany loves to be outside. Her favorite activities include camping, hiking, kayaking, and snowboarding. She also enjoys creative hobbies like crocheting, painting, reading, baking, and working with clay. She lives in Edmond with her fiancé, Owen.
J.J. Newsom, Driver and DME Educator
J.J. brings more than six years of experience as a residential coordinator, providing daily support and advocacy for adults with disabilities. Known for patience, empathy, and reliability, J.J. is dedicated to ensuring all individuals she works with feel valued, supported, and understood.
Outside of work, J.J. enjoys woodworking, classic cars, painting, playing sports, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Natalie Rohwer, Program Manager, ABLE Tech Financial Loan Program
Natalie joined the Oklahoma ABLE Tech team in August 2019. She manages the financial loan program for the purchase of assistive technology. Her prior experience includes working for 17 years at a commercial bank. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and a minor in Agriculture Finance. She has two kids, a daughter, Morgan, and a son, Colby.

Louise Ruleford, Program Specialist
Louise joined the ABLE Tech team as a full-time Program Specialist in September 2022. She has been an ABLE Tech team member since November 2021 and has loved every day of it! Louise is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy and plans to further her education and acquire a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Her responsibilities include fulfilling and shipping out device short-term loans, sanitizing returned devices, assisting with device demonstrations, documenting data, and more. She serves as a direct point of contact for clients and is eager to help people find the right AT for them.
In her free time, Louise enjoys rafting, ziplining, hiking, going to the movies, binge-watching the latest Hulu series, and spending quality time with her three precious nieces. Louise was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Louise’s favorite spot in Stillwater is the OSU Challenge Course on Western Road.
Tracy Sexton, Sponsored Programs Coordinator
Tracy joined the team in October of 2025. She graduated at Mid-America Christian University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance with a minor in Theology as well as her masters of Business Administration.
Her greatest passion is to work with grants. Through most of her career, she has worked in grants management – from the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma University Health Science Center, Hough Ear Institute, others in between, and now for Oklahoma State University. She knows that she will never be the investigator to do something like cure cancer, however, if she is working on the team that does, she will feel a part of that accomplishment.
Tracy and her husband, Dale have four children, five grandchildren, one bird, five cats, and two dogs. She enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, beach time and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.
Adam Thiel, Digital Accessibility Coordinator
Adam joined ABLE Tech as the Digital Accessibility Coordinator in September 2021. He has previous state-level experience, including building the Oklahoma State Department of Education’s (OSDE) accessibility program from scratch as their first Digital Accessibility Coordinator, and as a Purchasing Coordinator, also for the OSDE, where he held a Certified Procurement Officer (CPO) certification. Adam loves board games, heavy metal music, and anime, and currently lives in Moore with his wife, Kendra, and daughter, Paisley.
Jennifer Williams, Senior Administrative Support Specialist
Jennifer moved to Oklahoma from Reno, Nevada, in 2002. She spent most of her 20-year professional career working in childcare. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She has recently discovered the love of reading. She has been married to her husband Kenny, for 23 years. Together, they live in Yukon and have three amazing children: Payton, 20, a junior in the ROTC program at the University of Oklahoma; Cheyanna, 19, who serves in the Air National Guard; and Jace, 15, a sophomore at Yukon High School who loves playing football. She is excited to start a new career path with the Reutilization office in Oklahoma City. Jennifer says she can’t wait to see what the future holds!
Amy Woods, Occupational Therapy Assistant
Amy has been involved in pediatric occupational therapy since graduating from Tulsa Community College in 2011 where she earned her Associate of Applied Science. Amy’s experience in occupational therapy has included working with ages ranging from infants to 18 years of age. Her personal experience with diagnoses includes TBI, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorders, Fine Motor, Visual Motor, Handwriting, and Developmental Delays.
Kim Young, Device Reutilization Program Specialist
Kim joined the Oklahoma ABLE Tech Device Reutilization Program as the Program Specialist in August 2021. She directly interacts with the public statewide and assists individuals with disabilities and their representatives with receiving needed durable medical equipment (DME) and assistive technology (AT), as well as assisting with the intake of donated equipment. She maintains the database of available devices and equipment; and manages the day-to-day office tasks at the Oklahoma City location.
Kim grew up in Moore, OK graduating from Westmoore High School, and has taken courses at Oklahoma City Community College, with an interest in design. She currently lives in Oklahoma City with her beloved dachshund, Bruce.
Michele Young, Grant Manager
Michele joined the Oklahoma State University (OSU) Department of Wellness Sponsored Programs in March 2021 as Grant Manager. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Ethics from Mid-America Christian University and completed her Masters in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma. She recently retired from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center after 31 years of sponsored grants finance and management. She lives in Oklahoma City and has four children – her youngest daughter marched in the Cowboy Marching Band and graduated from OSU in 2018.
