The mission of the Developmental Disabilities Council of Oklahoma is to lead and advocate for systems change in the field of developmental disabilities, leverage collaborations and partnerships toward improved services and supports for Oklahomans with developmental disabilities, and promote positive perceptions and attitudes toward people with developmental disabilities.

Partnership Success Story
Partnership Success StoryThe Developmental Disabilities Council has two statewide advocacy programs: Partners in Policymaking and Youth Leadership Forum. ABLE Tech has helped move the Council into a virtual world, supporting our programs and pieces of training through the care of Microsoft Surface devices and accessories that all our students will have. This will give all students the same access to attend and participate in classes.
ABLE Tech is also a valuable partner during our training programs, providing information about assistive technology to participants in our workshops.
