Computers for the Blind


Computers for the Blind (CFTB) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization devoted to providing computers to persons who are blind or visually impaired. It is their hope that each person who is visually impaired may experience the information age in a positive and productive manner. CFTB believes technology opens new worlds and creates opportunities for greater personal freedom.

Financial Criteria

No income requirements. Free shipping in USA. Grants may be available to provide discounts (SSI, SSDI, VA, students).


Individuals that are blind or have low vision are eligible. No age requirement. Must be resident of the United States.

AT Devices Provided/Covered

Refurbished desktop or laptop with Assistive Technology. All computers come with Windows 10 Pro Operating System, a variety of applications including Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019 and web browsers; and a Home Use license of JAWS screen reader or ZoomText Magnifier for one year.
