The Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) is hosting listening sessions to assess the current needs of aging Oklahomans in preparation for the development of a statewide Multisector Plan on Aging.

The listening sessions are scheduled for:
Woodward – May 8
Tulsa – May 9
McAlester – May 10
Lawton – May 11
Oklahoma City – May 12

From DHS: "A Multisector Plan on Aging is an approach that engages public, private, and other organizations to work together to improve the lives of older Oklahomans – specifically those 65 and older. The Multisector Plan on Aging will enable and empower us to prepare our communities for the future.

Our goal is to give every senior the confidence to live life on their terms and to provide them with the resources needed to lead a healthy lifestyle."
