Every day this week we highlighted our incredible student employees for National Employee Appreciation Week! Last, but certainly not least, we’re excited to shout-out the students who assist with State Leadership Activities!

Paige Day is double majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Spanish from Orlando, OK. Paige plays a critical role in helping staff prepare for events, trainings, and booths specifically related to the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) contract. After every Assistive Technology (AT) workshop, Paige creates certificates and send emails out to all of the attendees. She also helps with device demonstrations, specifically for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). We especially appreciate Paige’s attention to detail and positive attitude!

Dru Cochran is an OSU Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) senior from Atoka, OK. Dru has been a vital asset to ABLE Tech with duties related to the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) contract for several years. Dru performs many tasks, such as data entry, setting up and organizing AT devices, processing equipment loans, assembling training materials, and managing and directing phone calls from clients. Dru is always willing to help and has never limited herself to her job description. Dru is a universal student worker and we’re grateful for her!

Truly, our work at Oklahoma ABLE Tech is only as successful as it is because of the input from our student employees. We can’t express our appreciation for them enough!
