National Casting Call for d/Deaf, Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind Actors

Have you ever thought about acting on the big screen?

DPD Casting is conducting a nation-wide search for males 18 and older who are d/Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind, with high-intermediate to high ASL fluency levels to star in a feature film called "Flash Before the Bang," featuring Jessica Alba, Russell Harvard, and Daniel Durant in lead roles.

The character descriptions they are looking to fill at this time include: 

  1. Seven Deaf Track Team Members (Including Lead Role): Seeking d/Deaf or Hard of Hearing performers, especially those who have been Deaf since birth or early childhood. Athletic experience is a plus.
  2. DeafBlind High School Sprinter: A High school athlete with Usher Syndrome. He is Deaf and legally blind. Seeking Deaf and blind/low vision performers and DeafBlind performers for this role. Athletic experience is a plus.
