First of its Kind: Judge Says Winn Dixie Website Must Be Accessible
There are many settlement agreements out there that say that a public or private entity needs to make its website accessible. But, settlement agreements are not actual court precedent because a judge never rules. The settlement is reached before an actual ruling. That is why the case involving Winn Dixie is so significant. It is the first court judgement about a private entity's website where the court ruled that the entity must make the site accessible. TechAccessOK speaker Lainey Feingold summarizes the ruling and its impact.

The same is true for agencies and other public sector entities. TechAccessOK sponsor and speaker Kevin Rydberg joins others in sharing their insights.
