[Part 2 of 3 Workshops]
Participants will learn the steps involved in conducting an Assistive Technology (AT) Assessment and the procedure for borrowing AT to trial with students. Educators will be provided the opportunity of making low-tech AT to help students with classroom tasks.
Pre-requisite: AT Assessment Part 1 – Consideration
Learning Outcomes
- Explain the steps to conduct an AT and Accessible Educational Materials (AEM) Assessment.
- Describe how to borrow AT/AEM for a trial.
- Apply the steps of an AT/AEM Assessment with a student through case studies.
- Understand how the Quality Indicators of AT and the Quality Indicators for the Provision of AEM and Technology inform AT Assessment
