Description
Participants will learn about assistive technology (AT) devices/features/uses in the following AT categories learning/cognition/development, speech/communication, environmental controls/adaptations, and recreation/daily living. Demonstrations and content will include information on funding sources. Pre-requisite: AT Assessment Part 2 – Gathering Information and Trialing Devices.
Learning Outcomes
- Compare and contrast AT across disability type and AT category
- Identify funding sources for AT acquisition
