Device Reutilization Program Equipment Drive - Help spread the word and promote it!
ABLE Tech’s Reutilization Program is designed to reuse valuable durable medical equipment (DME) that is no longer needed, and reassign it to Oklahoma residents in need. To accomplish this goal, the program depends on donated DME and collaborations to host equipment drives through the year.
ABLE Tech has TWO equipment drives scheduled across the state this spring:
- March 6, 2020
Location: 631 E. Hill Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73105
*This equipment drive is in partnership with Telligen. Telligen is an Oklahoma-based company that assists physician offices by providing them health coaches to improve their patients’ overall wellbeing.
- April 22, 2020
Location: Oklahoma State University campus
*This equipment drive is in partnership with the Sustainability Committee on the OSU Stillwater Campus. The Sustainability Committee unites students interested in encouraging good stewardship of resources, sustainable practices, and making a difference on OSU’s campus.

Spotlight on Success
Ethan, a 17-year-old student from Broken Arrow High School, has cerebral palsy and is non-verbal. He had become frustrated trying to communicate with everyone. Ethan’s therapist borrowed a NovaChat from Oklahoma ABLE Tech to help him speak and overcome these frustrating challenges. During his loan period, he was able to start communicating with his family and teachers. He enjoyed asking for goldfish and communicating his needs. Ethan was very thankful to be able to borrow the NovaChat from ABLE Tech.
