Course Registration Instructions

To register for a course, please use the Go to Course Catalog button in the side bar under Take Courses or navigate your browser to okabletech.catalog.instructure.com.

1. Select the course or learning track you would like to enroll in.
2. Select the Enroll Now button.
3. Enter your account information if you already have an account for our catalog.
4. If you do not have an account yet, select the Register New Account button.
5. You will need to provide your full name and your email address.
6. Next, you will need to confirm your email address, accept Canvas's Terms of Use, and then perform a verification check.
   1. This verification check may bring up a CAPTCHA. If it does, please follow the instructions within the CAPTCHA frame to complete it.
   2. There is an audio prompt option to help complete the CAPTCHA, but if for any reason the system is not working or you are unable to complete the CAPTCHA, please email us at abt.courses@okstate.edu and we will assist you.
7. If you have just created a new account, you will be sent an email to confirm your account creation.
   1. Find the email titled “Welcome to Catalog” from the sender, “Canvas Catalog.” If you do not see this email, please check your Junk/Spam folder.
   2. Select the Confirm Registration button.
   3. Create a Canvas password and select the Submit button.
8. Once you’ve done this, Canvas will take you to the OSU Canvas Catalog webpage. Once there, use the Catalog Login link under “Public Login.”
9. If prompted, sign in with your new login credentials that you just created.
10. Once you've successfully signed into your new Catalog account, find the course you just enrolled in, and select the Begin Course button. You will be taken to Canvas to begin working through the course. Now, you’re ready to go!
