Device Equipment Exchange

ABLE Tech can help you donate, sell, or locate equipment, such as wheelchairs, modified vehicles, lift chairs, and computer software, for a reasonable price. The program is a person-to-person exchange, which functions like the newspaper classifieds and provides listings of pre-owned equipment.

ABLE Tech is excited to announce a new process for requesting gently-used durable medical equipment (DME) and assistive technology (AT) from the Device Reutilization Program!

This AT inventory process allows Oklahomans to view and submit requests to borrow devices.

To list an item for sale or donation, to post an item that you are looking to acquire, or to request an item, you must first go to ABLE Tech's online Exchange device inventory system.

Device Exchange Success

Tekiea walking in her new boot

Tekiea contacted the ABLE Tech Device Exchange Program when she needed a walking boot. The program receives/retrieves donations of new and gently-used assistive technology (AT), cleans and sanitizes the items, and then offers them for free to Oklahomans with disabilities to utilize.

The program matched Tekiea with a walking boot, and she was very happy! “My doctor told me about the program…This helps my foot heal the right way,” she said.
